The ecosystems are damaged no doubt, while one person won't make a huge difference, it'll make a difference none the less.

You might be wondering, what can I do? Well, for starters, you can find a group, a preservation group perhaps, and participate in the cleaning of pollution of beaches, rivers, and ponds.

Not only could you participate in pollution cleaning, another good idea would be to also speak to your neighborhood's Homeowners Association about amending the rules to allow only a certain amount of fertilizer and pesticides on lawns, as the runoffs of these products are causing a problem.

All of the ideas listed are absolutely amazing ways to help out. But not everyone can do hands on things, so are there any other ways? Of course! The simple education of the idea can help to influence the treatment of a community towards the surrounding ecosystem.

How? Well for starters, seminars given could help to encourage things such as recycling, less motor use, the development of bike paths, proper disposal of waste products, and many other eco-friendly ideas.

So in conclusion, every little effort counts, whether that be recycling or even just using less water. Everyone can make a difference. So, what kind of person will you be now that you have this information?
